INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FUNCTIONING OF BUDGET SECTION AT CIRCLE LEVEL - ENSURE TO GET BACK THE BUDGET BRANCH UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE CIFA

AIPAEA is advocating strongly for the independent and efficient functioning of the Postal Accounts. Budgetary control is one of the essential tools to ensure such independent functioning. But the Circle Authorities blunted that tool by keeping away the CIFA. This Association has taken up this issue in the formal agenda dated 26-02-2014 with the DDG(PAF). Now with the approval of the Secretary Posts instructions have been issued regarding the functioning of the Budget Sections at Circle level. 

Following those instructions, the Budget Section of Andhra Pradesh Circle has been shifted back to the office of DA(P) from the office of the CPMG. All the Circle Secretaries should bring pressure on the DAPs to get back the Budget Section to DAP office.  Related Orders are published hereunder.
