RELAXATION OF EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION TO LDC & JA AS PER THE RECRUITMENT RULES OF 2001 - INFORMATION SOUGHT ON THE AIPAEA AGENDA ITEM

Comrades, You are all aware that AIPAEA has taken up an item in the formal meeting with DDG(PAF) for relaxation of educational qualification under SCF quota for promotion to LDC and JA cadres. As a result the Department has issued orders for one time relaxation and many officials got the promotion. But, some officials though got the qualification of 8th/ 10th could not be promoted as they have not completed 5 years of service as on 16th Oct.2003, which was the cut of date. AIPAEA again has taken up this item in the Agenda and the PA wing has now called for information from the PAOs. Please ensure the submission of such information immediately without any delay.

Sub:- Restructuring of Sorter, LDC and DEO cadres in PAOs –

            Regarding.

Ref:-   1.  No. 2(5)/09/PA-Admn.I / 497 / PA Wing dated 18-07-2014.
           2. This Association letter dated 19-08-2014 on above subject.
           3. Draft Model Cadre Review Proposal by DOP&T lr.no. I-

                11019/25/2014-CRD/ dated 12-09-2014.

          4.  This Association letter dated 25-09-2014.
Sir,

I wish to bring it to your kind notice that this Association vide the letter under reference 2 has submitted its views on the points raised by the nodal ministry on the restructuring proposals submitted by the PA Wing in r/o the Sorter, LDC and DEO cadres.

In the formal meeting held on 09-10-2014 when this Association expressed its concern over the long delay in submitting back the file to the DOP&T, it was informed that the views of the other recognized Association have not been received on the subject. It was requested to give a time line to get the views and process the file as it is very important matter and delay is hurting the interests of the Postal Accounts Cadres.

It is learnt that till date the PA wing is still awaiting the views of the other recognized Association and the file has not been processed further for the want of the “views”.

In this connection I request you to kindly cause immediate action to submit the file back to DOP&T with full justification for the cadre restructuring proposals without any further waiting.

This Association has also submitted in its earlier letter dated 25-09-2014 that the DOP&T has issued guidelines for submitting the cadre restructuring proposals by the Departments. I request you to kindly cause action to finalize the reply to the nodal Ministry in accordance with those guidelines.

I shall be grateful to you for bestowing a reply to this letter on the action taken in this regard.

With Regards,

Yours faithfully,
  Sd/-.
