JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT, STENOGRAPHER-GRADE II AND LOWER DIVISION RECRUITMENT RULES


CIRCLE POSTAL ACCOUNTS OFFICES (JUNIOR ACCOUNTANTS, 
STENOGRAPHERS GRADE-II
AND LOWER DIVISION CLERKS) RECRUITMENT RULES, 2010.

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
                Education Qualification for D.R. : Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
                Method of Recruitment: D.R. through SSC --- 40%
                                                   D.E. (by promotion of LDCs on passing Departmental Exam) --- 35%
                                                  SCF (by promotion of LDC possessing minimum educational qualification of
                                                  12th or equivalent with 5 years service ---- 25%
STENOGRAPHER GRADE-II
                100% by Direct Recruitment with 12th class pass as education qualification (through SSC)
                Skill test norms: Dictation 10mts @ 80 w.p.m. ; Transcription : 50mts (Eng.) 65mts (Hindi) 
               ( only on  Computers)
LOWER DIVISION CLERKS
                Education qualification: 12th class pass : Typing speed of 35w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in  
                Hindi on  Computer.
                Method of Recruitment : Direct Recruitment through SSC ----40%
                By promotion on passing the Departmental exam : Sorter – 10% : MTS – 5%
                By promotion on passing Limited Competitive Exam for 12th class MTS – 5%
                By promotion of Sorter on SCF basis : Matriculation with 3 years service –30%
                By promotion of MTS on SCF basis : Matriculation with 3 years service – 10%

    Please provide Rule & prescribed book also?
