Comrades,
We have been arguing with the authorities to release the terminal benefits of those comrades who have been issued with the Rule16 charge sheet and the proceedings are not concluded on the date of their retirement as per the DOP&T orders available on this subject matter. But due to wrong interpretation the said order has not been implemented correctly so far. Due to this many comrades retired without taking their retirement benefits. Their cases are pending in the Directorate.
The matter has been taken up by us in the Departmental Council and our contention has been upheld. The Department of Post has again issued an order reiterating the correct position in this regard. All the Circle Secretaries should ensure that the withheld terminal benefits are released immediately. Representations should be preferred for the payment of interest on the withheld amounts.

The amount has been taken up by us in the Departmental Council and our altercation has been upheld. The Department of Post has afresh issued an adjustment bombastic the actual position in this regard.
