  • Congrats !! Campaign on our Charter of Demands started with a bang. So far reports received from : Kolkata, Bangalore, Trivendrum, Hyderabad. In all these units, it has been reported that campaign was conducted by issuing handbills, posters and wearing demand badges. On the first day of the campaign i.e. 22-11-10 I am at Guwahati and on the final day i.e. 26-11-10  I am in Kolkata . At both the places I have addressed General Body meeting. On the final day of the campaign the charter has been submitted to the Head of the Office for onward submission to the Secretary Posts and DDG(PAF). I am sure and know that the programme was observed in all other units too.. but reports have not yet reached me. Please inform immediately and send the report immediately, so that it can be shared by all.
  • The vacancies in LDC cadre belonging to the Sorter quota have been diverted to Seniority cum Fitness quota in the LDC, if there are no eligible Sorters for the promotion to LDC. Hyderabad PAO has send the specific proposal for such diversion and the orders are issued by the PA wing permitting such diversion. Six MTS(Gr.Ds) are going to get the LDC promotion. Circle Secretaries should take up with the Administration and pressurize for sending the proposal for diversion if there are no eligible Sorters to become LDC and there are eligible Gr.Ds to become LDC under ScF quota.
  • Demand the Administration to immediately send the panel for regular promotion to AAO under 10%Seniority cum Fitness quota to DDG (PAF) for approval if vacancies are there. Already Hyderabad, Tamilnadu and Karnataka have sent such proposals and such panels got the  approval of DDG (PAF). Senior Accountants got the regular AAO promotion under 10% quota. Orders are very clear on this subject : till the Recruitment Rules for AAO cadre are framed, promotions should be given as per the existing Rules. No need to send the proposal to CPMGs, just send the panel to DDG (PAF). If still got doubts ask them to talk to ADG (Admn). Keep the pressure till the panel is sent. Don't allow the vacancies under 10% quota to be operated on ad-hoc basis.
  • Act fast ! Ensure that the All India Seniority list of Senior Accountants is circulated by the Administration and all the officials have gone through it and verified the entries under attestation by each official. If there are corrections to be made, rush it back to the PA wing immediately. Talk to the D.A(P)s, Get the corrections done at once.
  • LDC Recruitment Rules are amended and sent for Gazette publication.
