AIPAEA SUBMITTED ORAL EVIDENCE - A REPORT

Comrades,
Along with other General Secretaries of NFPE, AIPAEA met the 7th CPC on 25-03-2015 and tendered oral evidence on the Memorandum submitted earlier. In a pin-pointed discussion the General Secretary brought the injustice done to the JA by not implementing the 6th CPC recommendation of the Grade Pay of Rs. 4200. The Secretary has gone through the relevant recommendation and explained the issue to the Chairman. General Secretary also brought on record the fact that the parity established with the pay of the Assistants of the Central Secretariat was disturbed depressing the Grade Pay of Senior Accountants to Rs. 4200, whereas the justification is for granting the Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.
General Secretary narrated how the DEOs of Chennai PAO are deprived of their rightful pay scale. Chairman appreciated the submission. It is pointed out that to correct the things the Sorters, LDCs and DEOs should be granted replacement Pay Scale on the deemed Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.
A summery on the Memorandum submitted earlier to the Commission is again presented to the Chairman for ready reference and appreciation. Chairman suggested to meet the G.S. again with the Organized Accounts. On request it is assured to arrange another interaction on all the issues related to the Organised Accounts with the Joint Action Committee of the Accounts and Audit Employees and Officers Organizations.
Meeting ended on a optimistic note.
With Greetings,
T.Satyanarayana
General Secretary
